In 2009 Te Wānanga o Aotearoa delivered its first STAR courses to high school students in the Waikato region. The following year, more classes were added in South Auckland and Gisborne.
Over ten years later our STAR courses are offered at a number of locations across the country, giving hundreds of teenagers the opportunity to earn credits towards NCEA success.
Our STAR Commitment
We’re committed to providing a quality learning experience that supports NCEA requirements, while giving a unique perspective to learning at a tertiary level. All our STAR courses are designed to add value and bring forward the knowledge rangatahi may already have within them.
