Between now and the first few weeks of Semester A is when we are most at risk of losing potential tauira mostly due to uncertainty about their enrolment status (particular provisionally enrolled tauira) and a lack of regular, sustained communication with tauira throughout this period.
To welcome and support our tauira, we will start regular emails to provisionally enrolled and confirmed tauira for Semester A 2018 later this week.
These emails will contain useful information to prepare tauira for the journey ahead, help them move past common barriers to study such as student loan or allowance applications, and to keep fostering our relationship with them.
These pānui will go out, roughly, on a fortnightly basis.
Tauira tell us in our surveys each year that they value our contact, and feel supported when we communicate with and engage them in a range of ways – especially during the enrolment phase.
We’re keen to build on this knowledge and extend this manaakitanga to all tauira, all of the time, in future.
Kaimahi can also subscribe here to receive our tauira e-pānui. Remember the messages in these pānui are tailored to tauira - you will receive the same information and stay ‘in the loop.'
